From brief to verified result

How digital micro jobs actually work.

Campaign funding, worker reservations, confidential instructions, proof review and earnings are tracked separately so each result can be understood and audited.

How a campaign runs

The public marketplace shows the decision-making summary. Confidential data is never part of the public task payload.

01

Publish a funded campaign

The poster chooses the reward, number of spots, eligibility and proof format. The campaign opens only after funding is confirmed.

02

Workers apply

An eligible worker reserves one spot. Only then can that worker retrieve the private instructions and exact proof checklist.

03

Proof is reviewed

The poster approves valid proof or opens a reasoned dispute. No response by the deadline triggers the defined auto-approval flow.

Public information versus private instructions

Public summaries contain the outcome, reward, broad eligibility, estimated time and proof format. Exact addresses, account links, creative files, internal references and detailed proof requirements unlock only for the worker who holds the reservation.

What happens when review goes wrong

Most of a marketplace’s character is in this part rather than in the happy path. These rules exist because the alternative failed somewhere.

Nobody reviews at all

The submission approves automatically once the 48-hour window closes. A poster going quiet cannot hold a payment indefinitely, which is what keeps unfamiliar briefs getting taken.

The poster needs a change

One correction request, judged against the original requirements. Not new requirements added after seeing the work, and not an unlimited series.

The work is rejected

A stated reason, and 72 hours for the worker to appeal. An administrator decides — never the poster who rejected it, because an appeal ending with the rejecting party is not an appeal.

The clock starts fairly

Review begins once uploaded files have cleared safety review rather than at the moment of submission, so nobody is timed against media nobody has looked at yet.

Who can be matched to a task

Eligibility builds the pool, and every filter is a trade: a narrower requirement means fewer people and a higher rate.

Location

Country, and city where the work needs it. A saved home country is a matching preference rather than proof of presence — targeted access independently checks request geography where the edge supplies it.

Language and device

The filters that most often decide a result. Non-English work and specific device coverage are short of people in nearly every market.

Creator and task fit

On-camera video, social accounts, app devices and relevant product experience help match each digital task to people who can actually do it.

One validated catalogue

Countries come from a single ISO-based server contract shared by onboarding, profile edits and campaign targeting. Invented values are rejected rather than quietly stored.

How money moves

Funding is calculated and verified server-side. The ordering is the point: committed before the work, released after the evidence.

The total is computed, not proposed

Reward per spot multiplied by spots, calculated server-side, so a client cannot suggest its own figure.

A redirect never settles anything

Only a timestamped, signature-verified webhook with a matching campaign, poster, amount and currency confirms funding.

Approval releases the reward

To the worker’s balance, withdrawable through their own payout method rather than held as platform credit.

Capacity is released once

A spot that goes unsubmitted returns to the pool exactly once, and staged private proof is removed with it.

Why the states are separate

Campaign funding, reservations, private instructions, proof review and earnings are tracked independently. Collapsing them is how marketplaces lose the ability to explain what happened.

Each transition is recorded

A result can be traced back to which brief version it was completed against, by whom, when, and on what evidence — rather than reconstructed afterwards from a status field.

Failure is contained

A problem in review does not corrupt funding, and a payout question does not reopen a settled dispute. Separate states mean one thing going wrong stays one thing.

Obligations survive closure

An account can stop new activity while existing assignments, appeals, earnings and payout access remain available until settled. Nothing unsettled is destroyed to tidy up a state machine.
